Automotive Technology Internship Experience
CREDITS TO BE DETERMINED ON STUDENT AVAILABILITY
Seniors
Must be taken in conjunction with Auto Tech Theory and Lab II.
Students who have completed one and a half years of Automotive Technology Theory and Lab I & II courses are eligible for an Automotive Technology Internship within their second semester of their second year of Auto Technology. Some internships may receive pay from an employer where others do not depending on the type of business or industry. Students must have reliable transportation and signed parent permission in order to participate, along with instructor and BTEC director approval. Students will also be required to be subject to onsite evaluations and maintain a work log documenting their work.
